Record yourself delivering our door opener like you are standing on a porch. One take is fine. The script is right below.
Aim to send it within 48 hours of applying. Fast beats perfect.
The script
“Hey - [smile, step back half a step]. We're hanging a bunch of lights in the neighborhood - you've probably seen some going up already. I'm offering free quotes while we're out here. Do you guys have somebody who hangs your lights, or do you do it yourself?”
The step-back is deliberate. Give them their space and their status, then ask the question.
Three things that help
- Shoot it vertical on your phone. Front camera is fine.
- Say it out loud a few times first, then record.
- Energy over accuracy. If you stumble and keep going, that counts for you.
